Arabisto: Fox News and bloggers try to link Virginia Tech Killer Cho Seung-Hui to Islam

And I quote from Fox: "He apparently had scrawled the words "ISMAIL AX" on the inside of one arm, which may be a reference to the Islamic account of the Biblical sacrifice of Abraham."

The haters have already started blogging on this. I knew it would only be a matter of time.

UPDATE: Ali Eteraz does a great job at explaining why the above is just absolute rubbish. Just another desperate attempt by uninformed haters to smear Islam -- they so need a new hobby. Other breakdowns come from ABC News and The Hartford Courant.

math formula?

when I first read about the 'ismail ax' written on the inner arm, I searched the text online, and actually, the first sites to come up were related to some mathematical formula which indicated the significance of zeroes. I also found sites related to the islamic references, but could it be more than just the historical/biblical story, but also the identification with being a zero, nothing, or the impetus for creating nothingness (the deaths of all these innocent people? ...just so hard to understand why.
