A decade later, Princess Diana conspiracy theories continue with Mohamed Al Fayed

FLORIDA, August 31 2007, (Arabisto.com):
This morning, the major US networks paid tribute to the People's Princess -- Diana -- remembering her charity work and the love she had for her two sons Prince William and Harry.
Even in death, she seems to be surrounded by controversy. Anchors brought up Prince Charles' invitation to Camilla Parker Bowles to her memorial today, the unhappy relationship Diana shared with her husband and of course Mohamed Al Fayed.
A decade later it seems like Egyptian business mogul Mohamed Al Fayed still insists that his son Dodi Al Fayed and Diana were murdered by the British Royal Family.
Al Fayed is the owner of London's world-famous Harrods department store and the Ritz Hotel in Paris -- where Diana's last pictures were taken with Dodi.
Al Fayed and several other conspiracy theory believers in the Arab world contend that Princess Diana was murdered because of her relationship with an Egyptian Muslim.
I guess this shows that even after 10 years, the public is still in denial that she is gone. They continue to be enamored by her fairytale wedding and her commitment to charities. I guess I am guilty of it too. Even as I was rushing through my daily routine this morning, I couldn't help but to stop and listen to Harry's touching description of "the best mother in the world."
